This training equips Imams and community leaders to address domestic violence within Muslim communities. It clarifies cultural misconceptions versus Islamic teachings (e.g., obedience, privacy) and promotes a clear message of zero tolerance for abuse. Leaders learn to create safe spaces, hold abusers accountable, and collaborate with professional resources.

This workshop addresses how cultural beliefs can sometimes be mistaken for religious rules, creating barriers to seeking help and enabling abuse. Participants learn to distinguish between culture and Islam, reduce victim-blaming, and respond to domestic violence in culturally informed ways that align with Islamic principles of justice and dignity.

Designed for professionals supporting clients with mental health challenges, domestic violence, or elder abuse. This training covers recognizing abuse, responding to disclosures with trauma informed etiquette, and knowing when to refer to experts. It also prioritizes self-care, compassion fatigue prevention, and building emotional resilience.

An evidence-based violence prevention program adapted from Coaching Boys
Into Men (CBIM) with Islamically relevant
content. It targets boys and young men through sports coaches, teaching healthy masculinity, breaking toxic gender roles, and promoting healthy relationships. Includes working with fathers to ensure family safety and wellbeing.

This four-module workshop empowers seniors to navigate healthcare, financial systems, PSW services, and food banks. It also allows them to explore mental health issues in seniors, how to identify them and cope with them.

Nisa Learning offers age-appropriate workshops for elementary to high school students focused on healthy relationships, domestic violence awareness, emotional wellbeing, and personal safety. Through interactive sessions, students learn about respect, boundaries, emotional expression, and seeking support when needed

This interactive session trains attendees to recognize behavioural red flags of abuse, respond safely to disclosures, and understand mandatory reporting laws in Ontario. Includes case studies, role-play, and trauma-informed strategies. This workshop also has an educators version for teachers as well
