  2. Opt-out of receiving communication from us or having your name included in mailing lists shared with third parties.

Donation Guidelines

  1. Tax Receipts
    Donations made to NISA Foundation are eligible for tax receipts in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) guidelines.
  2. Gift Designation
    While unrestricted donations allow us to address the most pressing needs, we honor donor preferences for designated gifts when indicated.
  3. Refunds
    In most cases, a registered charity cannot return a donor's gift. See Canada Revenue Agency.
  4. Ethical Fundraising Practices
    We adhere to ethical standards outlined by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
